Paddle Palooza: June 10, 2026 | Seattle Metro office
TPG Throwdown: September 10, 2026 | Portland Metro Area
At The Partners Group, giving back isn’t a side project—it’s part of who we are. Since our founding in 1981, we’ve believed strong communities are built when people show up for one another with consistency and purpose. Events like Paddle Palooza and the TPG Throwdown bring that belief to life, turning connection and friendly competition into meaningful impact.
Our commitment to philanthropy has evolved over time. In 2008, we made a deliberate shift toward company‑wide volunteerism, and today every employee receives eight hours of paid volunteer time per quarter to support the causes they care about. In 2020, we accelerated that commitment with Give30—a 10‑year effort to contribute $30 million in time and money to our communities, along with profit sharing for our employees, by 2030. As of early 2026, we’ve raised more than $19 million and counting.
To support Give30 at scale, we established the TPG Foundation, which generates large‑scale support through signature fundraising events like Paddle Palooza and the annual TPG Throwdown. Proceeds are directed to carefully selected nonprofits whose work strengthens and uplifts the next generation. We recently sat down with Emily‑Rose Galati to learn more about our 2026 beneficiaries.
2026 Paddle Palooza Beneficiaries
Outdoors for All Foundation
From cycling and rock climbing to water skiing and kayaking, the Outdoors for All Foundation creates empowering outdoor recreation opportunities for people with disabilities across our region. Their work expands access and opens doors to transformative experiences.
TPG’s gift will support their cycling center at Lake Sammamish, funding free adaptive bike rentals throughout the spring and summer—an investment in making our community more inclusive so people of all abilities can experience the outdoors.
The Light Collective
The Light Collective supports families of children under 18 navigating a cancer diagnosis by building a hope‑oriented community grounded in connection and joy. Through monthly gatherings and shared experiences, they help families create meaningful memories during an incredibly challenging time.
TPG’s 2026 gift will fund their first‑ever family camp, expanding their ability to support families when it matters most.
2026 TPG Throwdown Beneficiaries
HomePlate Youth Services
Founded in 2005, HomePlate Youth Services supports unhoused youth in Washington County through a drop‑in center offering meals, clothing, showers, homework help, job‑search support, and transportation. With Beaverton reporting the highest number of houseless students in Oregon for the past seven years, this work is especially urgent.
Through the TPG Throwdown, we’re proud to support an organization that meets young people where they are and helps them move toward stability and opportunity.
Girls Build
Girls Build is a summer camp unlike any other—one where kids use power tools, solve problems, and build confidence through hands‑on learning. For many participants, it’s also an early introduction to career paths that may be more accessible after high school, especially when a two‑ or four‑year college isn’t a realistic option.
“It was so different than any nonprofit we’ve ever interviewed—there’s truly nothing like it,” says Galati. “Eight‑year‑old girls learning how to install sheet metal and shingle a roof? I wish I knew how to do that!”
TPG’s gift will fund scholarships for girls from low socioeconomic backgrounds or those involved in the foster care system, giving them access to hands‑on learning across more than 10 skilled trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting.

Every hour volunteered and every dollar raised helps us invest in the health, wellbeing, and education of the next generation. Thank you to everyone who participates in Paddle Palooza, the TPG Throwdown, and volunteer efforts throughout the year—your commitment makes this work possible.
