As part of The Partners Group holiday volunteering program, every employee is given a day off to spend time volunteering for their non-profit of choice. The group above chose to be volunteer shoppers at Christmas for Kids. This year the shopping day was at Fred Meyer, where the kids were able to pick out a coat donated by Columbia Sportswear, along with receiving a stuffed animal and a book. Before the kids left, they got to have a picture taken with Santa! The day had over 400 volunteers and approximately 240 kids participated.

Christmas for Kids is a magical annual event where local kids, hand-selected by their school counselors due to extreme need, join a volunteer shopper at a local store to check off a Christmas list (coats, books, hygiene items) for the kid and their immediate siblings. Shopping is paid for with accumulated contributions over the past year from generous donors throughout the community.
