Amber Lattin, Analytics Manager

Amber joined The Partners Group in 2005 after graduating from Portland State University with a BS in business administration: information systems. She started with TPG as a business analyst and has been in her current role as analytics manager for more than 10 years.

We spoke with Amber about her two decades with TPG.

What’s the one accomplishment at TPG of which you’re most proud?
I’m proud of building a strong, capable data team that consistently delivers quality results and adapts to the evolving needs of the business. This past year brought big changes and I’m fortunate to have a team that’s eager to learn, collaborate, and already making a strong impact.

What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned?
Over the years I’ve learned that adaptability and persistence are essential. Even when circumstances change, staying focused on the bigger picture and supporting your team through transitions is what ultimately drives success.

If you weren’t at TPG, what would your dream job be?
Something that combines data-driven decision making, where I could work directly with organizations to help them use information in innovative ways to achieve their goals.

What’s the TPG core value that currently resonates most strongly with you? (Play Well with Others, Own It, Be a Champion, Have Fun, and Live Well, Be Curious)
Be curious. Curiosity drives innovation and problem solving and it keeps work fresh. It’s what pushes us to ask the right questions, explore better solutions, and continuously improve.

What’s one word you’d use to describe your past 20 years at TPG?
Evolving.

What is one piece of advice you’d give to someone just starting their career at TPG?
Stay curious, keep learning, and don’t be afraid to share your ideas. Your perspective can make a difference from day one.
