According to the Portland Business Journal, the metro area’s 12 largest commercial insurance brokerages collectively employ nearly 20,000 licensed agents and brokers companywide, with 648 serving the Portland metro region. The metro area includes Clackamas, Columbia, Multnomah, Washington, and Yamhill counties in Oregon, along with Clark and Skamania counties in Washington.
