Years ago, The Partners Group asked all employees to donate their time in the final months of the year to volunteer for a non-profit organization. TPG also agreed to make a monetary contribution to each charity. The idea was a huge success and has become part of our culture. This year, Lori Hedgecock and Carrie McHale of the TPG individual insurance team worked a full day along with several co-workers at Habitat for Humanity.  They spent the day landscaping several homes that were nearing completion.

“It was heart-warming to know that deserving families would be moving into their first home soon.”

“The pictures show that while we worked hard, we also had a lot of fun! We all burned many calories that day,” Lori exclaimed. “The homes were totally built and we worked on the landscaping.  Some people worked on planting while the rest of us spread top soil, (truckloads of top soil), with a lot of shoveling and raking. We had to dig through clay soil to try to even out the ground a bit as well. It was heart-warming to know that deserving families would be moving into their first home soon. ”
