Rod Cruickshank –  President & CEO:

Cruickshank began his insurance career in 1984 as a sales consultant for one of the nation’s largest employee benefit brokerage firms. After working in both the Northwest and Northeast holding various positions, he returned to Portland, Oregon, where he founded The Partners Group with Bruce Kerr.
 
Today, Cruickshank is the President and CEO of The Partners Group, one of the largest independent financial and insurance services firms in the Pacific Northwest, serving more than 600 employers and well over 20,000 successful physicians, dentists and executives. Cruickshank has a degree in political science from Oregon State University and earned his Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) advanced degree from The American College. He is also the founder and managing partner of C2 Solutions, comprised of six of the nation’s top independent regional benefit firms to deliver a combination of service and experience unmatched in the marketplace today.
 
Rod is a long-time member of the national and Oregon chapters of the Association of Health Underwriters and the Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He is also a board director of The Council of Employee Benefits Executives (CEBE). Additionally, Rod is chair of the board of trustees for the Meridian Park Medical Foundation and serves as chair of the board of elders at Willamette Christian Church. Rod has served as board chair of the Oregon and SW Washington Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the Portland Children’s Museum, as trustee for OHSU Medical Group, and is a former national advisory board member of United Healthcare, Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon and Premera.
