Protecting Your Patients, Your Staff & Your Practice
Employment Practices & Cyber Security Liability – The Challenges, Drivers & Outlook for 2019
Protecting Your Patients, Your Staff & Your Practice will focus on two critical issues facing clinics and hospitals – employment practice liability and data breaches. This FREE seminar is approved for 2 HRCI credits and 2 SHRM PDC.*
Social movements such as #Metoo have brought an increased focus on sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and discrimination in our communities. Today, employers are more likely to have an employment practices claim than general liability or property loss.
According to the United States Department of Health and Human Services, there have been over 229 data breaches reported in 2018 affecting 6.1 million individuals. Healthcare clinics are the #1 target for cybercriminals.
2018 was a record-breaking year in both the amount of employment liability practice claims filed and the quantity of health data breached. Healthcare providers have a responsibility to protect their patients, staff, and partners from both data breaches and acts of misconduct in the workplace.
Please join our featured speakers on March 20th to learn how to prevent these critical issues in your clinic, and the best practices for mitigating the damage when they do occur.
