The Partners Group currently has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced client service and operations professional to join our wealth management team in our Portland, Oregon office.

How you will have an impact at TPG:

The primary role of an Operations Manager is to manage the daily activity of the client service team within SEC guidelines and regulations, support the team in all areas of client service, and provide onboarding and training to the support and administrative team members.

What a typical day in this role looks like:

  • Manage the daily activities of the service team, including approving correspondence, approving and tracking paperwork, and systems maintenance
  • Coach, develop, and mentor the service team
  • Serve as the internal advisor to the Director and Managing Director, delivering feedback and insights on the requirements of team-specific process and strategies
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to streamline the service team workflow
  • Research complex client service situations and address questions from clients on account activity
  • Track and report status on department KPIs and other goals
  • Coordinate new hire training in the areas of client service, new account paperwork, technology platforms, operations and compliance
  • Attend weekly and monthly department and TPG meetings as requested

Key details

Location: Portland, OR

Hours: 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time, ability to communicate verbally and in writing, and ability to handle long periods of screen time.

Travel: Ability to travel locally with minimal overnight travel.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
  • At least five years of experience in a client service or operations role, preferably at a Registered Investment Advisory firm
  • Series 65 license (Preferred)
  • Expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency in the use of personal computers
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
