The Partners Group currently has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Human Resources professional to join our Tigard, OR office as the Human Resources & Training Manager.

 

How you will have an impact at TPG:

The primary role of the Human Resources (HR) & Training Manager is to provide overall direction and guidance on employee relations of the organization, as well as administer employee compensation, training, and benefit programs. This individual will also lead, motivate, and coach staff to the Vision, Mission, and Values of The Partners Group.

 

What a typical day in this role looks like:

  • General administrative duties such as filing, maintaining employee records, submitting data changes for employee records, exit interviews, and new hire paperwork processing.
  • Manage annual review system and track supervisor compliance to the annual review/Career Annual Plan creation process for each employee.
  • Oversee administration of employee benefits and coordinate enrollment meetings.
  • Provide assistance and back-up for in-house payroll administrator.
  • Advise and coach supervisors on HR policies and programs, including employee relations issues.
  • Confidentially receive and investigate issues, collect data, reports/prepares documentation, and develop proposed resolution
  • Develop, coordinate, and conduct training events; provide data analysis and generate reports.
  • Partner with the Senior Recruiter to assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding as needed.

 

Key details:

Location: Tigard, OR; in-office with hybrid remote opportunities

Hours: 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time, ability to communicate verbally and in writing, and ability to handle long periods of screen time.

Travel: Ability to travel with minimal overnight travel as business needs require. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.

 

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • An associates or bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field. HR Certification or comparable work experience required.
  • At least five years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Manager.
  • Knowledge of finance, budgeting, and HR principles.
  • Working knowledge of industry-specific programs, as well as Payroll, HRIS systems.
  • Passion for supporting, upholding, and enhancing our culture to ensure we remain an Employer of Choice
